"This lady will be an Internet presence to be reckoned with!!!" I very very seldom went out on a limb and made a prediction like that. However, after meeting her in person, spending quite a bit of time with her, and taking her pictures, I felt confident in making that statement back in November of '99 (she was 30 back then). This lady had quite the life as an "exotic dancer" in Hawaii so she really didn't aspire to Internet Stardom. But, if she had, you can bet your keister that she would've been right up there where the likes of Tracey, NetxLaura, and others had been. It was the ultimate experience in taking her pictures. This was the first woman I ever did a photo shoot of that I didn't have to do the slightest bit of coaching. It was as if she was reading my mind, knowing exactly what position I wanted her in next, and what facial expression I wanted her to have. Photographing Hope was not a job... it was a most pleasureable experience! Sadly, I think she gave up being on the internet not long after she returned to Hawaii. Oh well, I do have those memories of that one night with Hope. |
